Hi, I’m Vivek.
I’m a Hindi linguist, researcher and faculty member based in Varanasi. For over a decade, I’ve helped adult learners from around the world make Hindi feel logical, lively and truly theirs.
I have been appointed as Hindi faculty at Ashoka University for the coming academic year—bringing the same research-led, practical approach to university learners and my private students.
My teaching brings together pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary—with stories, films, flashcards and a generous dose of Indian culture.

Yes. Start with a free 30–45 minute introduction class. It’s a relaxed way to meet, discuss your goals and see whether the teaching style feels right for you.
Are the lessons online?+
Yes. All lessons are delivered online, so you can learn from anywhere in the world.
What does a lesson include?+
Lessons combine conversation, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. You’ll receive carefully selected notes and practice material as your foundation grows.
Do I need any Hindi knowledge to start?+
Not at all. Complete beginners are warmly welcome. We’ll begin with the parts of Hindi that matter most for your goals.
Will you offer self-paced Hindi video courses?+
Yes. I’ve prepared multiple Hindi courses for Udemy so learners can study independently and revisit lessons at their own pace. Upcoming courses will be published on my Hindi with Vivek Udemy profile.
